This workshop will explore how local ecosystems are driving innovation in AI. It will revolve around how AI is essential for digital sovereignty, improving existing technologies and services, creating new businesses and pushing back the frontiers of knowledge. Regional authorities and local institutions have a key role to play in developing strong AI-related innovation ecosystems, attracting and retaining talents and companies, ensuring the safety of AI-users and mobilising investments.
