Regional Innovation Valleys for Circular Economy: Rural Regions as Key Players in the Transition

Innovation in regions and rural communities is key for achieving a circular economy. This will require boosting and harnessing the innovation potential in rural communities and cross-border rural innovation ecosystems. Multiple regions in the cross-border region of Central Scandinavia have been selected to become the next Regional Innovation Valleys (RIV). This regional workshop, will show how rural areas in Sweden and Norway play a key role in the transition to a circular economy.
