- Peter Dermol is the mayor of Municipality of Velenje. He studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor, where he completed the university study programme in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Automation. He is also the vice-chair of the Association of Municipalities of Slovenia, a member of the Development Council of the Eastern Slovenia Cohesion Region, and a member of the Board of Directors of the SAŠA Region Business Club.
