- With over 30 years of professional experience, Sandra Sodini has built solid expertise in EU programming, regional development, and cross-border cooperation. Her previous appointments include Director of Informest – Regional Development Agency for International Cooperation – and Director of the Italy-Slovenian EGTC-GO. As Director of EGTC GO for 12 years, she pioneered the first Integrated Territorial Investment in cross-border cooperation and played a decisive role in the successful candidacy of Nova Gorica–Gorizia as European Capital of Culture 2025. Since 2022, she has also been responsible for the Technical Secretariat supporting the implementation of the Recovery Plan within the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Administration.
She is currently Director of the EGTC Euregio Senza Confini, which brings together Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, and Carinthia (Italy–Austria), and serves as Head of Cabinet to the President of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
