- Magda DE CARLI is Head of the Unit responsible for ERA, Spreading Excellence and Research Careers and Deputy Director for ERA and Innovation in DG R&I, European Commission. As such she was strongly involved in the design and launch of the Choose Europe initiative and currently leading on the preparation of the ERA ACT, first ever legislative initiative in the context of the European Research Area.
