One of the European Commission's focal points is to involve citizens and bring them closer to Europe. The Small Project Fund is an instrument available to territorial cooperation programmes to foster cooperation at the grassroots level and involve citizens more directly. Considering the important role EGTCs play in supporting regional development and cross-border cooperation, during the 2021-2025 programming period, it was decided to explicitly encourage the management of SPFs by EGTCs as sole beneficiaries other than Interreg Programmes. EGTC GO, EGTC ViaCarpatia and EGTC Euregio MR will share their experiences managing SPFs and present some good practices and results.
