As Head of Transformative Innovation at the Government of Catalonia, I lead the coordination of Catalonia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3CAT 2030)—an ambitious, place-based agenda to accelerate green and just transitions through systemic innovation.
In recent years, my work has focused on developing and promoting transformative approaches to public innovation policy. I explore how governments can better respond to complex societal challenges by enabling cross-sectoral collaboration, embedding systems thinking, and supporting experimental spaces for systemic change.
