- Durmish Guri holds a Master’s degree in International Trade from the European Institute of Paris VIII and has over 20 years of experience in project management, policy evaluation, research, training, and international cooperation. His expertise spans areas such as energy and climate, sustainable development, gender equality, and local governance.
As Projects and Programmes Director at CEMR, he leads the delivery of EU-funded and international initiatives, working with local and regional governments across Europe and beyond. He promotes knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and international cooperation to support democratic and sustainable local development.
Durmish has contributed to the localisation of global agendas, including the SDGs, and is known for his strategic mindset, intercultural skills, and commitment to empowering local actors through cross-border collaboration.
