- Ambre Maucorps is Economist at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw). Her research focuses on territorial development and the EU Cohesion Policy. In the past decade, she led many EU-wide evaluations and research studies on the effects of EU funding on regional growth, resilience and competitiveness, including in a cross-border context. Her most recent work addresses EU enlargement from the angle of Chapter 22 of the accession negotiations (Regional policy and coordination of structural instruments). Ambre Maucorps holds a Degree of Engineering (with a major in Economics) from the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, France, as well as a M.A. degree in European Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
