A Vision for the Revitalization of a Village – A Model for the Economic Revival of a Mountainous Region The Vamvakou Revival Non-Profit Civil Company was established with the purpose of fully revitalizing the area and is funded by the "Peloponnese" 2021–2027 Program, through resources from the European Regional Development Fund. This noble endeavor is based on a plan that places at its core parallel goals aimed at strengthening the economic and social activity of the settlement, highlighting the positive role that the development of new and necessary infrastructure and services can play in specific directions: the visitor economy, rural development, and the creative industry.
