A vision for the revitalisation of a village – A model for the economic revival of a mountainous region The non-profit civil company Vamvakou Revival was established with the aim of completely revitalising the area and is funded by the Peloponnese 2021–2027 Programme with resources from the European Regional Development Fund. This noble endeavour is based on a plan that places at its core parallel goals aimed at strengthening the economic and social activity of the settlement, highlighting the positive role that the development of new and necessary infrastructure and services can play in specific directions: the visitor economy, rural development and the creative industry.
