Peer-to-peer learning on replicating and upscaling nature-based solutions for climate adaptation

This session brings together insights from the NBS4EU cluster of seven projects and the DIRECTED project to explore how Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) can be replicated and scaled up across Europe for climate resilience. As the NBS4EU projects have started implementing NBS and DIRECTED enters its co-design phase, mutual learning across institutional contexts will examine how NBS fit into systems approaches involving complementary financial, governance or technical interventions, along with the enabling conditions and bottlenecks identified in achieving this. Lessons will highlight transdisciplinary collaboration, offering complementary perspectives on pathways for mainstreaming NBS.
