The EUniverCities Network’s mission is to explore, share and promote the power of strategic city-university cooperation in tackling societal, economic and environmental challenges in medium-sized European cities. Since 2012, the Network’s membership of city-university 'tandems' has contributed to our growing expertise, with analysis, guidance and advice on how to organise, sustain and maximise this type of collaboration. We know what works! We also have case studies demonstrating the practical benefits of city-university collaboration on housing; sustainable urban development; youth; public services; innovation; labour markets; culture; city branding; sustainable tourism, and much more!

Session summary
This was our first time at EWRC and we were so happy with the amazing contacts we made at our EUniverCities Stand (helping knowledge cities learn from one another). We spoke to many many people about our work and have some excellent contacts in city and universities to speak to over the next few weeks about how we can welcome them to the network.
The sessions were very much on point and we would welcome the opportunity to be involved again.
The event staff were super helpful and everything went so smoothly - thank you to the whole Team at EWRC2025.
