How can EU-funded programmes, projects and policy-makers foster gender equality? Examples and lessons learnt from URBACT

The next Multiannual Financial Framework will further support projects fostering gender equality in the new regulations and through EU funds. So how will new EU-funded programmes and projects implement measures towards gender equality? URBACT, the EU-funded cooperation programme for cities, will demonstrate what actions EU-funded programmes can put in place for their beneficiaries to foster gender equality. From the application process, to funding projects dealing with gender equality, trainings of beneficiaries on gender equality, and the collaboration between URBACT and Sciences Po students on this topic, participants will interact and reflect on their own practices for gender equality.
