- Germana Di Falco is an expert in innovation and change management in the public sector and a co-founder of business accelerators. She serves as Senior Expert at the Department for Cohesion of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, where she supports the National Programme Just Transition Fund (JTF) and the Urban Agenda. In this capacity, she coordinates the JTP Groundwork pilot action on STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform), Excellence Seals and territorial transition.
With over 25 years of experience bridging academia, public administration, and the private sector, she has worked extensively on European cohesion policy, programme management, and capacity building for regional and local authorities. She has served as Director General and CEO of consultancy and innovation firms, advisor to Italian and European institutions, and trainer at leading business schools.
Her career combines strategic foresight, programme evaluation, and hands-on leadership in complex multi-level governance contexts. Today, she is particularly engaged in experimenting with new tools – from AI and data-driven dashboards to cross-fund synergies – to foster resilient, inclusive and innovative territorial development.
