Pecha Kucha - Shared foundations, many realities: tailoring the right to stay across EU territories

We will present the concept of the right to stay, operationalised around five interrelated dimensions: essential services and infrastructure, competitiveness and employment conditions, social and institutional quality, human capital, and environmental wellbeing. The 20 slides will tell a quantitative story based on Eurofound’s project 'Monitoring geographical disparities: Regional convergence', linking the above dimensions and regional convergence. We will address how these five dimension can be modulated across territories to shape an EU of the future where staying is a choice. The presentation covers NUTS2 and NUTS3 level regions across the EU, over the period 2014-2024.
