Technical briefing on the Commission’s proposal for the 2028-2034 EU budget: Cohesion policy

In this information workshop, the Commission will present its proposal for the next Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034 and the legal framework proposed for the future cohesion policy. The EU, national, regional and local authorities and stakeholders will have the opportunity to learn more about how the Commission’s proposal aims to maintain the key cohesion principles of partnership, multi-level governance, place-based approach, and territorial development, combined with the ambition to implement key reforms, simplify access to funding and scale-up investments through the concept of the National and Regional Partnership Plan.
