MITIGATE, ADAPT, THRIVE: AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO URBAN CLIMATE CHALLENGES

Local dialogue moderated by World Bank, bringing together Iași Municipality and its 2035 NetZeroCity Local Coalition, along Romanian and European authorities, organizations and practitioners, to discuss on advancing the urban green transition, under the framework of the EU and National Climate Missions. This participatory debate will explore how to couple the climate mitigation and adaptation approaches, for supporting more climate-responsive, livable futures. The dialogue will focus on reducing the neighborhoods' vulnerability to UHIs through integrated urban regeneration, based on 2 innovative case studies: integrated apartment block interventions and playground transformation programmes.
