Advancing Regional Energy Planning: Putting Efficiency First through Heating & Cooling Integration

As Europe prioritises sustainable growth, integrating Energy Efficiency First (EE1st) in regional and city planning is crucial. Despite its importance for achieving EU 2030 energy targets, local authorities face capacity, coordination, and financial hurdles. The event, organised by Regio1st and CoolLIFE projects, will provide regions with tools to embed EE1st, especially in heating and cooling strategies, ensuring significant energy, financial, and social impact. It will also showcase real-case scenarios, address barriers, and foster collaboration to transform EE1st from policy into practice across over 100 regions, directly contributing to Europe's cohesion and sustainable future.
