- Katarina has recently been appointed Director for Social Impact in Europe at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. She joined Mastercard in 2012 and in her previous positions she led public policy efforts and later delivered commercial initiatives in 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, building trusted relationships with political leaders and decision makers while navigating diverse institutional and political landscapes. She led high-impact projects such as the Digital Country Partnerships in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia and supported national initiatives like Czechia Pays by Card and Strive Czechia.
Katarina serves on the board of AmCham Slovakia and acts as an Ambassador of the Cybersecurity and Digital Resilience Pillar in the League for Digital Boost, a brainchild of the Slovak Alliance of Innovation Economy.
Before joining Mastercard, Katarina worked at MEDEF (French Business Confederation) in the position of European Affairs Manager, and in the European Parliament .
