Hackathon: Shaping a Smart and Sustainable Tourism Strategy in the Mediterranean Together

Mass tourism is widely known to impact the Mediterranean area and the challenges it brings are growing. Still, we must continue working to develop solutions and shape tourism offers that respect the territory, including sustainable cultural tourism. The INTERREG programmes, managed by regions, seek to spark new ideas through a hackathon. In just 90 minutes, we will collaboratively design actions for sustainable tourism that could be funded by INTERREG. These proposals will be shared with the managing authorities of the INTERREG programmes across the Mediterranean and with DG REGIO and will provide valuable input for the post-2027 programming phase. Join us to save Mediterranean tourism!
