Ensuring that cities implement sustainable and holistic water management practices is key to ensuring their long-term resilience, particularly with regard to water-related crisis preparedness. The exchange of good practices and the lessons learnt from recent catastrophes and crises will provide participants with key insights into the various innovative pathways towards increased urban resilience, ultimately contributing to the broader vision of a water-smart society that is capable of withstanding ever-increasing climate-related challenges. The workshop will also aim to promote exchanges on future cooperation opportunities among participants.
