Simplifying project implementation through simplified payments

We will share our experiences on simplified cost options and financing not linked to cost. Lithuania was one of the first countries to establish a Simplified Measures Centre to coordinate in this area. The solution has proved its worth, as the centre not only provides methodological assistance, but also calculates the expenditure needed to implement the activities, which makes it possible to focus more on results. Lithuania uses simplifications to address social problems, business development and environmental protection, among other things. This is important for future cohesion, as the focus is increasingly on achieving results rather than on small-scale expenditure verifications.
