Over the past six months in 2025, an analytical scheme for the need for Klaipėda city green infrastructure and a Klaipėda city greening plan have been prepared - strategic documents that help to effectively integrate more nature into Klaipėda city spaces, improve the local microclimate, biodiversity, and ensure a healthy living environment for Klaipėda residents and guests. In the case of Klaipėda, the city's difficult situation forces us to look for truly sustainable solutions that would operate at different levels and help transform the country's only port into a city that ensures the well-being of its residents and their right to a healthy environment in the coming decades.
