The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) is responsible for managing EU funding under the PEACE, INTERREG and PEACEPLUS cross-border programmes. The PEACE programme is a unique cross-border initiative designed to support peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the border counties in Ireland. The new PEACEPLUS programme was created to strengthen peace and prosperity in Ireland and Northern Ireland, using the functional area tool in its efforts.
