Democracy unleashed: policy labs for citizen engagement

What happens when you take a complex societal problem, gather everyone affected by it and give them all an equal say in how the problem should be solved? This is the central question of the MUST-a-Lab project. Local administrations of six Member States took up this challenge and implemented multi-stakeholder policy labs on integration policies. They focused on youth participation, a sense of belonging in schools and labour market integration. The process led to valuable insights.
