European Week of Regions and Cities

Good management of EU cohesion policy for a strong EU democracy

Local projects financed by EU cohesion policy are the most visible aspect of the EU to Europeans. However, complex implementation can have a negative impact on public perception of the EU. This workshop aims to explore measures that local and regional authorities can take to enhance effective management of EU funds. Contributing to the debate on the future of cohesion policy, the workshop is a vital link between policy and academia and fosters the partnership approach across the EU.
