María López Sanchís

• Secretary-General, Regional Ministry for Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy of Andalusia
• With a degree in chemical engineering and a Master's in Integral Water Cycle, Water Engineering, and Water Management. She began her professional career as researcher, moving to the private sector in 2002 as technical manager and supervisor. She was technical advisor to the General Directorate of Water Infrastructures. She has been Director General for Environmental Quality and Climate Change up until her current designation last december 2023.
