Are you ready for SMILE? The SMall Islands Love Empowerment communities project (included in Theme 3) concerns intelligent growth through a strategic approach to sustainable development in Sicily’s small islands. It’s a unified vision of various OPs – ERDF, INTERREG, ENI – that includes five EU cohesion-funded projects aimed at promoting efficient, innovative and eco-conscious growth and preservation of natural resources. The outcomes can be evaluated as best practices replicable in the EU.
