Local Democracy Agencies are local NGOs hosted by municipalities and run by grassroots organisations, with the support of European local and regional authorities and associations in their territories. Through their commitment to good local governance, they have been an effective tool for strengthening the resilience of local communities for over 30 years. With the full scale invasion of Ukraine, ALDA decided to make greater use of these platforms to address the challenges of its Ukrainian partners.
