Regional approach and partnership under the next MFF for effectively promoting cohesion objectives

The Commission's proposal for the Regulation governing EU funds under shared management for the next MFF will introduce a plan for each Member State, linking key reforms with investments. Following the adoption of the proposal in July 2025, stakeholders from EU, national, regional, and local authorities will need to explore how a regional and territorial approach can be effectively incorporated into the design and implementation of the plan. This workshop will offer participants expert views and provide a platform to exchange ideas on ways to integrate a place-based approach, strengthen partnership and ensure multi-level governance in shaping and delivering the plan.
