Rural revival: Digital tools for smarter regional attractiveness strategies

European rural regions cover 80% of Europe, host approximately 30% of the population and play an important role in the EU innovation ecosystem. They also face the mass challenge of demographic decline. In time this could lead to a loss of facilities and decline in liveability. To tap into the underexplored potential of rural regions, it is essential to understand the wellbeing of regions in a more holistic way and use best (policy) practices from all over the EU. Our participatory lab will live-demo a user-friendly digital dashboard. It will provide interactive development and migration-driver data about your own region and produce solutions to match your population challenges.
