European Week of Regions and Cities

North Rhine-Westphalia shapes the future – EU Regional Policy in more developed regions

North Rhine-Westphalia has profited from EU Regional Policy since the early 1990s. ERDF helped the region's transformation. ERDF/JTF representatives will show how EU support makes the region fit for the future with stories of successful change and funding measures to shape the future through innovation, climate action and urban development, including in coal mining areas. Interactive parts will allow an exchange on experience and needs of regions towards future EU Regional Policy after 2028.
