The Opening Session is designed as an interactive debate between high-level speakers, members of the European Committee of the Regions, local and regional authorities, young local elected politicians and key actors of the Cohesion Policy. The debate is organised around the challenges faced by cities and regions across Europe in 2023 in light of the fast evolving European and international agenda, the role of Cohesion policy in EU's cities and regions and the future of Europe and Ukraine.
