Bridging the innovation and entrepreneurship divide in rural areas

Innovation and entrepreneurship are central for economic growth, yet not all regions have equal access to these opportunities. Geographical disparities persist, particularly between urban and rural areas. This workshop focus on the challenges and opportunities of fostering innovation in rural areas through the presentation of work identifying policies for innovation in rural areas in several OECD countries, and analytical work on start-up activities in rural regions across the European Union.
