European Week of Regions and Cities

Discover challenges and opportunities in the Bucharest-Ilfov Region

The Bucharest-Ilfov Region is the smallest but most dynamic, developed region in Romania. It faces many problems in terms of population density, transport, number or cars, pollution, but also many opportunities thanks to the biggest university centre, number of SMEs, central administration etc. Many projects were made possible through EU funding. We want to present some projects through a VR movie and other materials. We want to bring several actors from the region to join us.

Session summary

We organized for the first time an exhibition stand. We are excided we could join together with the main European institutions involved in the cohesion policy and other regions, cites, stakeholders.
It was a great opportunity to meet other actors, to socialize and to be known for further projects. We hope for the next years to be possible to involve more.
