Session summary
On Wednesday, 9 October 2024, the South Moravian Region, Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, Košice Self-governing Region, and Wielkopolska Region came together to host an innovative workshop as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2024.
This Regional Roundtable offered a dynamic platform for problem-solving, where participants actively collaborated to address the pressing challenges each region faces. Representatives from each region presented their specific challenges and worked closely with participants to find creative and practical solutions. We are pleased that approximately 40 attendees arrived and all actively participated in the breakout rooms and shared their views and opinions. Speakers took away a lot of new contacts thanks to the interactive version of the workshop and we will continue to work with the contacts, e.g. by sending out our report (link below). The conclusions were that it is always great to work together and do things together, which makes us more efficient and faster, even though we each face different issues.
