• DREAL Grand Est is a department of the French national administration which steers national policies on biodiversity in the region. Sophie Ouzet's Species Protection Unit oversees the implementation of regulations on species protection and mobilises nature experts and stakeholders to strengthen the preservation of and knowledge and data on biodiversity. It oversees the implementation of 20 action plans for threatened species, among which the Grand Est roadmap for domestic and wild pollinators.
