Advancing regional innovation in microelectronics and photonics for competitiveness and convergence

We will focus on the progress of the European Semiconductor Regions Alliance's (ESRA) efforts towards increasing Europe's capacity as a semiconductor and microelectronics producer from 10% to 20% by 2030 to reduce external dependency. We will examine recent successful case studies of collaboration pathways between regions, the promotion of research institution networks, and the results of efforts to promote recovery plans in regions to foster open European strategic autonomy.
