As part of its ongoing efforts to foster fairer and more inclusive societies in Europe, the European Commission is, for the fourth time, organising its European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award. The Award recognises work done by cities, towns and regions in Europe to promote inclusion and create discrimination-free societies. All local authorities in the European Union are welcome to apply.

Is your town, city or region making strides towards building discrimination-free societies? Apply to the 2025 European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award and showcase your initiatives that help to create more inclusive environments. European Commission is launching the 4th edition already this autumn!
Besides two general categories (local authorities above and below 50,000 inhabitants), in 2025 municipalities are also invited to apply in a specific award category: inclusive housing.
