A more social Europe and cohesion policy: A necessity for a just transition

Cohesion policy is not only meant to address economic growth and the green transition, but also social cohesion and the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights. A just transition in a more social Europe also means investment in adequate social infrastructure. How can we align social investments with the objectives of the green transition and with economic growth? The workshop will discuss lessons from the current funding period, and how a more social Europe can be supported.
