This session will present the opportunities for public investments under the Public Sector Loan Facility (Pillar 3 of the Just Transition Mechanism) to combine EU grants with EIB financing to help regions affected by the green transition cope with its impacts across a wide spectrum of sectors, all directed towards smart and sustainable growth. This is relevant for just-transition eligible regions and those regions impacted by the just transition. Examples of approved investments will be shown.
