- After an extended career in various Commission services (SG, DG REGIO, DG INFSO/CONNECT, Cabinet), Hervé Dupuy now works as Head of the Unit at HaDEA, an Executive Agency set up by the European Commission in 2021.
He oversees the implementation of EU investments in large-scale digital connectivity infrastructures, notably backbone networks (submarine cables, satellite ground stations) and pilot projects for 5G innovative use-cases (cross-border automated driving, smart hospitals, etc.). The programme under his responsibility – the digital strand of the Connecting Europe Facility, also known as CEF-Digital - plays a crucial role in steering EU efforts to catalyse the Continent’s technological sovereignty in these critical infrastructures.
HaDEA, the European Health and Digital Executive Agency, operates out of Brussels and is committed to reinforcing Europe's capabilities across multiple domains – notably digital but also health, food, digital applications, and innovation in industry and space.
