The Future through Cohesion: How Reforms are Shaping Regional Policy and Strengthening Partnerships

Ukraine is implementing reforms to align local and regional governance with EU standards, even amid war. Key changes include strategic planning, public investment management, local self-government reform and digital tools to promote cohesion and sustainable development. This session will explore how these reforms strengthen resilience and EU integration. It will highlight tools like the DREAM platform and the Regional Development GIS that support transparency, planning, recovery and partnerships. Speakers from Ukraine and the EU will share lessons on multi-level governance and local leadership for cohesion and growth. Kata TÜTTŐ, President of the European Committee of the Regions will openg the session.
