The session will be a panel discussion and workshop run by the Rural Scotland Living Lab of Horizon Europe GRANULAR, planned for the week the European Rural Parliament and the Youth Parliament meet in October 2025 (venue 30 minutes from their venues at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, UK). It draws on the deliberations of the Multi-Actor Platform of rural Scotland in the recent H2020 SHERPA project in which visions for rural areas of Europe were formalised in recommendations to DG Agri for the Rural Pact and tackling pillars of the Long Term Vision for Rural areas, including rural proofing of policies and measures for their sensitivity to diversity within rural areas, and citizen led place plans.
