European Week of Regions and Cities

Climate Adaptation techniques and funding for vinemakers

As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, the City of Worms invites regional stakeholders, policymakers, and practitioners to a high-level expert event on 13 November 2025 in Worms, Germany. The focus will be on climate adaptation in viticulture and the strategic use of EU agricultural funds, including CAP and LIFE programmes. The event features practical workshops, insights from the LIFE project LifeVineAdapt, and a policy dialogue with representatives from the European Commission, the State Ministry, and local winegrowers. It aims to foster cross-regional exchange and explore funding opportunities for sustainable wine production in the face of climate change.
