The Rigth to Move - The Right to Stay: Tackling Rural Transport Poverty for a Fairer Europe

The European Rural Mobility Network, in collaboration with DG MOVE, will host an interactive high-level dialogue bringing together policymakers, senior officials, and key stakeholders to address rural mobility and transport poverty. The event will highlight mobility as a fundamental right for all citizens and showcase concrete, proven solutions from across Europe’s rural and isolated regions. Through active debate and exchange, participants will identify actionable policies for affordable public and shared transport, fostering political commitment, and promoting cross-sector collaboration to reduce isolation, strengthen communities, and scale up effective strategies.
