Tourism is one of Europe’s key sectors, facing the dual challenge of digitalisation and sustainability. Andalusia NEXUS is not a single platform but an integrated ecosystem that combines data, skills, governance, marketing and European cooperation. In line with the ongoing EU Tourism Strategy consultation, to which Andalusia has contributed, NEXUS demonstrates how regions can translate policy priorities into practice. Through its five verticals — Data, Talent, Future, Audience and Lab — it makes innovation accessible to destinations and SMEs, promoting collective intelligence, co-creation and open governance, and offering a scalable model for smarter, more sustainable tourism management
