• Mr Sadovyy is the Mayor of Lviv since 2006. When the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine started, Lviv became one of the leading cities of the Ukrainian homefront, receiving wounded soldiers and civilians, providing shelters for internally displaced people and undergoing frequent missile attacks. As city mayor, Mr Sadovyy implements a number of scale programs that enable full-fledged functioning of the city in these unusual circumstances.
