This workshop will discuss the frameworks in which cross-border teleworking is carried out and the impact it has on border regions. During the health crisis, derogations allowed full-time telework without affecting either the social security system or the tax situations of the workers concerned. Telework has had direct effects on these workers and employment areas, which calls for actions at bilateral and EU levels in favour of the long-term reorganisation of cross-border working.
