- Filipe Batista e Silva is a team and research project leader at the European Commission Joint Research Centre, in Ispra, Italy. He manages several projects supporting territorial development issues with evidence from geospatial data sources. Filipe graduated in Geography in 2006 and obtained a MSc in Geographical Information Systems by the University of Porto in 2009. In 2022, he obtained a PhD by the School of Business and Economics by the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. Filipe regularly contributes to technical and scientific reports and papers.
